# DAO Governance Daily - 2026-09-05

The only live vote in the market is Parallel's treasury self-buyback; four DAOs across recent cycles have voted to wind down or pause.

---

**Parallel — PGP-45 OTC buyback closes in ~14h**
<https://snapshot.org/#/parallel-protocol.eth/proposal/0x856a07456f860ad9ff1261c765062848b739013cf335f15a733952f9f55b4906>
100M PRL OTC buy & burn from Mimo Labs. Third leg of a program (PGP-42 emissions redirect, PIP-68 Tokenomics v2.1, PGP-45 direct buy) converting treasury into price support. 6 voters, 78.7M PRL (~7.9% of supply); top voter + the proposal author = ~75% of committed VP. Sequel queued: PIP-70 "AI Compute Pilot — From DeFi Incentives to Owned Infrastructure" (same author) starts when this closes.

**Four DAOs vote to wind down or pause**
Arbitrum AGV wind-down with capital return ($26.1M VP), Fei TIP-121c Final Redemption ($182.1M VP — the largest VP event on the board), Sandbox SIP-39 pausing the DAO, ApeCoin AIP-596 sunsetting the DAO for ApeCo.

**Aavegotchi took the opposite fork**
IP transfer to the AavegotchiDAO Foundation (138 voters, 4.19M GHST VP) plus the Three-Tier Quorum Framework both closed. Moves the protocol's most valuable asset from a studio company into a holder-governed foundation — the opposite direction to ApeCoin's dissolution vote.

**Ethena fee switch voted**
88 voters / 17.8M ENA. Proposal activates discretionary fee routing; on-chain implementation pending verification.

**Arbitrum's delegate cohort owns the constitution**
Security Program ($25M — GFX Labs 9.3M, Camelot 12.5M, 0xb4c0…6f13 32.7M VP), Security Council election-process ratification, OAT elections, Fast Feed. The same 4-5 accounts vote every governance-structure item.
