# DAO Governance Daily - 2026-10-04

** DAO Governance Digest — 2026-10-03 18:43 UTC | 32 DAOs scanned | 3 active proposals**

**Takeaway:** Decentraland's multisig-return vote closed this morning, leaving the SAFE utility vote (SEP 56) as the only live vote with real voting power — and it closes in two days.

- **Decentraland's treasury-accountability vote closed.** "Return the money in DAO Committee Multisigs to the DAO Treasury" landed in a 2.02M MANA field (~$211K USD), 13 ballots, all from a single author (0xBB7B…E9C6). It was the last live leg of a freeze-and-return bundle tied to the DAO Committee multisig rails; outcome not captured in scanner data.

- **[SEP 56 — Fund Safenet Aegis](https://snapshot.org/#/safe.eth/proposal/0x9d226d025170ec4c56adc53dd77dda851da75c712757122c70dea965003278c4) is the only live vote with real power.** 24 ballots, ~7.1M SAFE (~$780K USD), closes **2026-10-06 08:20 UTC**. Top 3 voters (governance.kpk.eth, Joel Thorstenssen, shot.eth) hold ~56% of live voting power — three of the 24 ballots, ~$650K of the total, all casting Yes. The SAFE token-holder base that once drove the protocol's governance identity is concentrated in a few institutional wallets.

- **[Balancer BIP-930 & BIP-931](https://snapshot.org/#/balancer.eth/proposal/0xeae4f8bab6f2fbfe22cfeae51ec336ef238c82e6e0017ee511ee67995235d53d)** are procedural follow-throughs, not architectural decisions. Each carries just 1 ballot (9 BAL, ~$1), both close 2026-10-06 18:00 UTC. The fork-vs-winddown architecture debate (BIP-928/929) that defined the prior cycle has run to completion; both BIPs now sit at one ballot each.

- **Centrifuge (OpenSquare) remains in maintenance mode.** CP162 (CNF fee-flow revenue) closed at 789K CFG (12 ballots, zero No/Abstain). No live votes, no new activity on the RWA side.
